The Institute is committed to quality specialist education and is recognised as a Centre of Excellence in many areas including photography, design technologies and new media. Workshops and studios are fully equipped to the latest in industry standards, and all computer equipment is state-of-the-art. The Institute’s single campus consists of a series of purpose-built studios accommodating approximately 1700 students on full-time courses. Each course has an allocated number of places for UK and international students, which helps to ensure that all overseas students integrate with British students as much as possible. All courses have small year groups (the average of which is thirty-seven), ensuring that students have a greater chance of getting the attention and support that they expect and need from professionally qualified tutors. Students come from many countries around the world and there are currently more than 200 overseas students from around fifty countries studying on the whole range of courses at the Institute.
