| Programme description | Media Technology is technology and methods for supporting human communication over distances in time and space. Prof. N. Enlund, KTH; Today's rich media environment provides unique opportunities for creative and effective communication of an organization´s goals or between a company and its customers. An MSc in Media Technology will provide you with the knowledge and theoretical foundations needed to utilise or improve media technology and systems using such technology. With these qualifications you will be an important resource in any business or organisation that employs digital media. ; The programmes will give you experience in using the technology and tools utilised for producing, storing and distributing digital media. In addition, you will develop knowledge of important factors such as user interface and ergonomics, media economy and media laws. | Formal prerequisites | To qualify for admission to the MSc in Media Technology, applicants must have a 3-year undergraduate degree, preferably a Bachelor?s degree in computer science, graphic arts engineering or media technology. In addition, the applicants must document that they have at least 60 ECTS credits in information technology / computing subjects (of which at least 10 ECTS credits in databases, data modelling, and/or information modelling) and at least 10 ECTS credits in mathematics. |
