| Programme description | The purpose of the program is to give the students theoretical knowledge of Mathematics at an advanced level, together with practical skills to apply it both to mathematical problems and in applications of Mathematics. The program gives qualifications to enter a PhD program in Mathematics. In addition, the student is to aquire sufficient skills in applying Mathematics to be employable in industry, with government agencies and elsewhere where mathematical problems are treated. |
