| Programme description | The Master´s programme in Mathematical Statistics is a two-year programme that turns towards those that have a Bachelor´s degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or equivalent and want to extend their knowledge in Mathematical Statistics. The programme is an excellent preparation for graduate studies, but can also give, depending on direction of studies, a solid foundation for a professional career within the private or public sector. Examples of branches where strong competence in Mathematical Statistics are in great demand include the insurance business, banking and finance, pharmaceutical companies and medical research institutions. |
