| Programme description | The program started the autumn 1998 and accepts 20 students each year (15 international and 5 Norwegian students).; The main aim of the program at the NCFS is to provide an interdisciplinary education. This is a program which combines primarily economics and biology, with additional courses in technology, principles of organisation, and law. The program is teaching-intensive, with courses (comprising 90 study points) and a research project (30 study points), with more emphasis on course work than on the individual research project. |

| Formal prerequisites | Bachelor`s Degree in Science or Social Science (or equivalent degree).; An English proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent) should be enclosed in order to fulfil the entrance requirements.
