| Programme description | The education in Laboratory Medicine is aimed at creating professionals suitable for positions as hospital chemists, geneticists and microbiologists, as well as future leaders in the field of medical research and development. The studies are coupled with practice in the form of laboratory work and team-group work. Courses at the advanced level in areas such as Bioinformatics & Biostatistics, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Genetics, Clinical Microbiology and Diagnostics in Laboratory Medicine are compulsory and are instructed by researchers in the field of the studies. Optional courses such as Experimental Neurobiology, Tumour biology, Array technology and Animal models can be selected. |
