| Programme description | The programme deals with computer based control and supervision of different kinds of processes. Many application areas can be found within steel- and paper industries but other systems such as river, biomedical, transport, automobile and train systems are also possible fields of application. A goal of the program is to give a profound knowledge in the field of process control, from mathematical modelling of the processes to control design and implementation. The education is at large conducted via project work where the students work independently with realistic examples and processes with application to industry. |
