ICT in Learning/ Education

ICT in learning indicates that this is not a study in technology and in learning theories as separate disciplines, but rather the use and integration of ICT in educational settings. The programme is based on teacher education (bachelor degree), it includes a total of 120 credits and qualifies for PhD programmes.

The programme is netbased. The first year consists of 4 separate courses:
Learning material (10 cr)
Development (20 cr)
e-learning (20 cr)
Learning theories (10 cr).

The second year consists of 3 separate courses:
Research methods (10 cr)
Data handling (10 cr)
Didactics (10 cr)
Master thesis (30 cr)

The study is dependant on constant use and exploitation of ICT. Students who do not reside at the institution must have access to sufficient equipment and the Internet while studying. Individual course work, obligatory tasks and project work require technology based methods. Assessment is mainly based on portfolios.
