| Programme description | Do you care about the state of the environment? Do you want to work with problems like heavy metals, organic pollutants, or nutrients in the environment? Would you like to combine theoretical principles with practical work in the field and in the laboratory? If yes, then the Aquatic Environmental Biology program may be ideal for you. Although governments, other authorities, companies and the general public attempt to reduce pollution, we still have environmental problems. Many of these are inherited from the past, but we also create new problems by, for example, introducing new technologies and chemicals with unknown effects into the environment. The Institute of Biology at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense offers a 2-year international Master’s program in Aquatic Environmental Biology. All courses in the program are taught and examined in English. |
