| Programme description | Nanoscience concerns the study and manipulation of materia with at least one dimension in the range 1-100 nm. On this size scale, the distinction between disciplines such as physics, chemistry and biology becomes less clear. Characteristic for nanoscience is therefore a large degree of interdisciplinarity. This masters programme has its scientific base in a physics description of nanoscale phenomena but you can, depending on your background and interests, choose to specialise in for instance nanoelectronics or materials chemistry. |
