| Programme description | The master focuses on social problems of urban regions in modern European welfare states. It compares the way social problems are defined and tackled in various European countries, and puts these in a historical context. In this master students acquire academic knowledge, professional attitudes and research skills needed to play an active and / or research role in this field. The Master is competence-based, problem-oriented and highly interdisciplinary, and links scientific analysis and research to professional practice. |
