Programme description	Classical philology is one of the minor subjects at the University of Aarhus, but has nevertheless attracted large student intakes for a number of years. There are currently approximately 70 active students attending a relaxed and close environment. As a student of classical philology, you work with everything ranging from Greek and Latin language and literature, ancient philosophy, and political and social history to mythology and the history of religions. You acquire in-depth knowledge of the importance of ancient literature and civilisation for later periods in European history. In addition, you learn to communicate your academic knowledge to a target group, both verbally and in writing.
