| Programme description | The Scandinavian Institute at the University of Aarhus has a versatile and dynamic study environment. The subjects taught range from literature and the media to language and culture, and we research everything from Johannes V. Jensen and the Danish spoken by immigrants to Lars von Trier, chat features and the history of aesthetics. In the course of your Master’s degree programme, you work with a variety of topics, such as the structure, use, history and variation of the Danish language, communication analysis, text production, correct communication and cultural understanding. In addition, you have an opportunity to look at your studies from a different angle by choosing an elective subject at the Scandinavian Institute or at another institute or department, and this also strengthens your competence profile. |
