Programme descriptionThis one-year Master's Programme is recommended for students with an interest in European or Eastern European studies or with an interest in multi-disciplinary regional studies. The course is suitable for students with a swedish bachelor degree in History, Sociology, Political Science, Gender Studies or an equivalent degree. The course is also suitable for students with a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities. The first semester covers the socio-political transformation and international relations as well as cultural aspects of the region through four courses. During the second semester students write a master´s dissertation, focusing on one subject within History, Sociology, Political Science, Gender Studies. The second semester also offers theoretical and methodological training in coordination with writing the dissertation.
