| Programme description | The aim of this programme is to teach the principles and practice of system management, including network and system design, analysis, efficiency and security. The course places emphasis on practical skills based on UNIX, Windows and Macintosh platforms but teaches general principles along with their technical and ethical foundations. Courses include general system administration, core networking with extensive lab work, routing, security analysis and implementation, and culminate in a project/dissertation, which amounts to about 30% of the programme. |
