| Programme description | This area is directed towards students who want to study biodiversity of plants. Studies can be conducted at the subspecies levels, focussing on genetic variation within species, species immigration history and population structure. Also taxonomical studies at the species level can be performed for instance on lichen and fungi species. Spatial and temporal patterns of biodiversity may be studied both at the species and the community level. Biodiversity of plant communities are studied focussing on species composition and spatial mixture and pattern of communities in the landscape. |
