Programme descriptionThe two-year Master’s degree programme in architectural engineering at the University of Aarhus is offered in collaboration with the Engineering College of Aarhus and targets students from engineering colleges and tertiary education institutions in Denmark and abroad. The degree programme leads to the title of graduate engineer. It is both application-oriented and research-oriented at the same time, and is aimed at the business community in particular. This degree programme provides you with an opportunity to specialise in bearing constructions and integrated energy design, at the same time as acquiring general building competences. You acquire such a high level of engineering insight and overview that, in addition to being able to design any given construction, you can play an active role in the creative process connected with the styling and disposition of buildings. The work of an engineer covers more than simply technical solutions. It also includes the ability to bridge the gap between architecture and science.
